Mitraclip Screening

With the MitraClip, mitral regurgitation is able to be treated in the least invasive way possible, i.e., without open-heart surgery. The clip is introduced via the femoral vein and inserted through the atrial septum into the left atrium. The clip then links together the widened mitral valve leaflets so that the valve function (valve closure) can be improved. The video presents the structured procedure for ultrasound diagnosis in preparation for a minimally invasive correction. The product is aimed at established cardiologists.
